Our Mission

Epistimi is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is dedicated to advancing, increasing, and encouraging the leadership and presence of women in the professions of Science, Technology, Engineering, Math and Medicine (STEMM) around the globe.

The overriding mission and purpose of Epistimi is to increase the leadership presence of women in the sciences. Epistimi intends to accomplish this goal by various methods and programs, which may include, but are not limited to, classes and workshops in leadership, both in the United States and internationally; education and information about the STEMM professions; and training, mentoring, advising and networking with women in the STEMM professions and related organizations concerning career paths, leadership, public speaking, communication methods for academic, non-academic, corporate, science and public information venues.

Epistimi admits all self-identified women into its courses.
