Dr. Angeliki Rigos and two of her colleagues from the MIT Energy Initiative, Aruna Joglekar and Trinity White, completed their paper on the competencies for leading the Energy Transition based on interviews of 35 leaders in energy. They found that the energy transition demands leaders who combine foundational leadership skills with adaptability, relationship building, collaboration, impact drive and systems thinking. Epistimi runs the US-Japan funded leadership training for Women in Japan in September 2024 in Tokyo. There were 23 participants from China, India, Iran, Japan and USA.
Epistimi runs the LUCE funded leadership training for Women in Energy at the American College of Greece in July 2024. There were 27 participants from 11 countries: Bosnia, Canada, China, Colombia, Ecuador, India, Iran, Mexico, Nigeria, Uganda and USA.
Epistimi receives funding from the US-Japan Foundation to provide leadership training to Women in STEMM in Japan in September 2024.

Angeliki Rigos presented a poster with Prof. Anna Frebel at the National Academies Action Collaborative on Preventing Sexual Harassment in Higher Education 2023 Public Summit on October 17, 2023 in Washington DC. The poster title was “Empowering Graduate Students and Postdocs with Sustained Leadership Practice: LEAdership and Professional Strategies and Skills (LEAPS) at MIT.”
