Carla Huang is the Founder and Managing Director of Merritt Leadership Group LLC, a firm dedicated to providing tailored coaching and advisory services to leaders across industries. Before founding Merritt Leadership Group, Carla was a Senior Principal at ghSMART, where she focused on talent assessment, talent/succession planning, and executive coaching, helping Fortune 100 companies enhance their leadership pipelines and align their talent and business strategies.

Carla’s career began with nearly 15 years at McKinsey & Company, where she coached over 500 consultants, improving their performance and helping them successfully navigate the firm’s culture. She played a key role in establishing the McKinsey Black Affinity Network's professional development function, driving initiatives that reduced turnover and enhanced professional growth.

Carla’s expertise extends to individual career planning and development, team effectiveness, and organizational talent/ succession planning. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering from MIT.
